The Ethics Institute (TEI) is proud to announce the seventh Ethics Initiative of the Year Award. The award provides the opportunity for ethics practitioners to share successes and to learn from their peers.
Maintaining an ethical culture in environments filled with pressure and high expectations, is no easy task.
Moving ethical discussions to the forefront, regularly simulating challenging situations that employees might face, and making smart use of data to track worrisome trends, can help you adapt in real-time.
It will also ensure that you are creating and maintaining a culture where employees want to, and will, do the right thing.
We would like to know what ethics interventions you have put in place to improve the ethical culture of your organisation.
This initiative allows all ethics practitioners an opportunity to learn from their peers and broaden their perspectives on institutionalising ethics.
Send us a short description of your organisation’s ethics initiatives and how they have been managed. In your description, we would like you to explain the following:
- Tell us about a specific ethics initiative or initiatives in your organisation
in the last 18 months. - What lessons have you learned from the experience?
You may present your submission in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, PDF, or video format. The video should not be longer than 15 minutes, and PowerPoint presentations should not exceed 10 slides.
We look forward to hearing about your initiatives and the impact they have on fostering an ethical culture within your organisation.
To be considered for the The Ethics Initiative of the Year Award 2024, please send us your short description of your ethics initiative by no later than 9 August 2024.

- Ethics has to be driven from the top to be supported: the executive team and board’s support have enabled intensive ethics programmes.
