Ethics for professionals: Beyond the code of conduct workshop
This workshop is tailored for individuals across various professions, both statutory and non-statutory, who aim to expand their expertise in professional ethics beyond their existing familiarity with their specific professional entity’s code of ethics and conduct.
This workshop is tailored for individuals across various professions, both statutory and non-statutory, who aim to expand their expertise in professional ethics beyond their existing familiarity with their specific professional entity’s code of ethics and conduct.
During the workshop, the following themes will be introduced and explored:
- Introduction and purpose
- Ethics as the moral glue of professions, organisations and society
- An ethics competence for professionals
- Professional and organisational ethics
- Citizenship for professionals
- Ethical reasoning and solving complex ethical problems
The workshop can either be presented in:
- Contact sessions: one full-day or one half-day
- Virtual training: one or two half-daysÂ
CPD Accreditation: Workshop attendees have the opportunity to request three (3) CPD points from their respective professional entities. This request should be supported by a recommendation from The Ethics Institute, as indicated on the workshop attendance certificate.
