Why did you attend the programme?
The Ethics Programme was being introduced to our department and Ethics champions were required. There was also a need to test the Ethics certification for public servants specifically between Ethics SA and DPSA.
How did it benefit you personally?
It improved my understanding of making ethical choices. In the past I would only choose situations that are favorable to me without considering how ethical they were.
How is it benefiting your company?
I have since left DPSA but I believe it will improve the culture with the department. Employees will be informed of what is ethical and what is not in that way this will improve the overall performance of the department.
