Why did you attend the programme?
I attended because I was nominated by my company for the course, having proven competence and passion in Ethics and Integrity in our department. Another reason I was nominated to attend is because am the official Integrity Assurance Officer in the Division, Trained by the Government of Kenya Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission, am very passionate as far as doing things right and being ethical.
How did it benefit you personally?
It benefitted me personally because it has empowered me embrace deep ethical values which are characterized by responsibility, accountability, fairness and transparency. I am able to train others on introduction to ethics, governace of ethics, codes of ethics, whistle blowing and other important areas in Ethics. I am now convinced that it important and satisfying to do things right and ethically.
How is it benefiting your company?
The company is benefitting because they have now a person who can be trusted with important and sensitive matters. I can also teach and train others on ethics issues.
