Why did you attend the programme?My organization has an oversight role on maritime affairs in Kenya. My roles within the organization include inspecting maritime communication equipment on vessels. Upholding rigid standards is a pre-requisite- when it comes to carrying out inspections on safety related equipment, and this requires a certain degree of moral posturing. My ethics skills will give me more confidence to handle the myriad of challenges encountered whilst trying to implement standards in a field that is characterized by various forms of rigidities and challenges.
How did it benefit you personally?
I am now more than ever able to cope with challenges encountered, and find it easier to inspire positive change within my sphere of responsibility.
How is it benefiting your company?
I am now able to beat deadlines effortlessly, as I have found a formula to align my professional tasks with my personal goals.
