Why did you attend the programme?
I attended to educate me more on the liability of all stakeholders for unethical conducts of the company. Exposure to recent trends in the corporate governance and best practice as applicable to our business in the company. I also wanted to educate myself on how to mitigate unethical and unidetified ethical threats that my organisation may be exposed to. I wanted to promote good corporate governance in my organisation, and have a sound knowledge on the practicality of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other policies of our organisation.

How did the programme benefit you personally?
It has opened my eyes to the various loopholes or lacunas in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. The training has given me sound knowledge of corporate governance, best practice and ethical conducts. It has thought me how to deal with ethics related issues and ethical dilemmas in my organisation as an ethics officer.

How is it benefitting your company?
The knowledge I gained from the training has changed the focus of my organisation from policing stakeholders, to persuading them through constant training, sound communication to employees and all stakeholders to change their values, by making ethical behaviour woth aspiring for in the organisation.
