Our alignment to the Presidential announcement on COVID-19

Dear Supporters and Friends of The Ethics Institute

The declaration of a state of disaster by the President, followed by his further announcement of a lock-down, place a moral obligation on all of us to play our part in preventing COVID-19 from spreading, but also to assist others within our respective spheres of influence and control.

At The Ethics Institute we have implemented a range of measures to ensure that our staff and clients are as safe as possible.

Our staff are all working remotely, but they can be contacted by phone (012 342 2799) or email during office hours.

Since face-to-face meetings are no longer possible, we offer our clients the option of conducting meetings, training interventions, or assessments electronically. We are also available to remotely provide advisory services to our clients.

We will provide regular and timely updates on any aspects of our work that are affected by the current state of affairs. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the Annual TEI Conference to 17 May 2021.

We appeal to all our stakeholders to take good care of themselves, but also to consider their potential impact on those they interact with.

More than ever, we need to live up to our vision of “Building an Ethically Responsible Society”.
