The Ethics Institute invites individuals from all walks of life to contribute to our vision of building an ethically responsible society. Anyone can become a Supporter of The Ethics Institute by signing the Supporter Pledge and paying a fee for a 12-month subscription.
What does it mean to be a Supporter of The Ethics Institute?
Supporters represent our network of friends, alumni and associates who we hope will help us in achieving our vision. First and foremost, all Supporters make the following Pledge when they first sign up, and every year when they renew: “I support The Ethics Institute’s vision of building an ethically responsible society by acting ethically and promoting ethics in my sphere of influence”. While we require all Supporters to make this aspirational commitment, we do not police their adherence to it. It should therefore not be inferred that the conduct of the any Supporter carries the stamp of ethical approval from The Ethics Institute.

Current organisational members will, at the end of their term, be invited to “convert” by signing up a group of individuals at roughly the same contribution as the membership fee paid before.
- 5-9 Supporters (small group): 5% discount
- 10-14 Supporters (medium group): 10% discount
- 15+ Supporters (large group): 15% discount
- Note: The discount applies to fees for our professional services as well as the Supporter fees.
We encourage all organisations to sign up their entire ethics office, executive team or board as Supporters of The Ethics Institute. For organisations who require evidence that they are funding a group of Supporters, we will provide a formal letter confirming their contribution.
